Shipping Policy

Things are SO expensive these days. At least it sure feels like it. We've thought a lot about shipping and how that should work. We could raise prices and give "free" shipping. But we all know there's no such thing as free. Instead, I decided to split the cost with the buyer. On average, a tiller and rudder cost $32 to ship.

So I've set shipping rates based on order cost. Up to $250 is $19.99. Over that is $26.99. So $26.99 is the most you will pay for shipping.

One final promise: should the ACTUAL shipping ever be less than what the customer paid, we will refund that difference. I'm not out to make money on shipping.

Returns & Refunds policy

You are entitled to cancel your order before production starts on custom orders. On stock orders, please cancel before the item ships. Just email us at info@ruddersandboards.com or call.

Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. It's really that simple. Our small boat world is small, and this business is built on trust and reputation. If you are unhappy with anything we make you, just let us know. We'll make it right. How we do that will depend on each case, and what the customer wants.
